2.
Nature of Services

2.1 What we provide

MSS provides interview coaching to help you develop a clear career narrative, build confident and practised answers to interview questions, and improve your overall performance in high-stakes interviews. Every engagement is personalised. Prior to your first Session, you will complete a Quick Snapshot intake form covering your target role, confidence level, and any background sensitivities. This is reviewed before the Session begins.

Sessions follow a consistent structure: an opening to establish context and confidence baseline, a core coaching block of approximately 40 to 45 minutes, and a close that includes a verbal summary, homework, and send-off. Confidence is scored at the start and end of every Session. A transformation summary is completed after the final Session.

MSS will provide all Services with due care and skill, consistent with its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

2.2 What we do not provide

Our Services do not constitute and must not be relied upon as:

  • employment placement, recruitment, or job search services
  • legal advice regarding employment contracts, workplace rights, or discrimination
  • psychological counselling, therapy, or mental health treatment
  • financial advice of any kind, including salary negotiation strategy
  • any other regulated professional service

You should seek appropriately qualified professional advice for any matter falling within the above categories.

2.3 No guarantee of employment outcome

Success Disclaimer. MSS does not guarantee that you will obtain employment, secure an interview, receive a job offer, or achieve any specific outcome as a result of our Services. What we commit to is that you will walk into your interview with a clear narrative, practised answers to hard questions, and measurably higher confidence than when you started. The outcome depends on you, the role, and the competition. The coaching ensures you are not the reason you miss out. Your results are your responsibility.

MSS is not an appropriate service for C-suite, board-level, or executive placement candidates (VP, Director, and C-level roles). If you are seeking that level of coaching, you require a specialist executive coaching or outplacement service.

3.
Purchasing & Payment

3.1 How purchasing works

By selecting a service on this website and completing the checkout process, you are making an offer to purchase the selected Services. A binding agreement is formed when you receive an Order Confirmation from us following successful payment.

3.2 Agreement to these Terms at checkout

You must actively confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Service before payment is processed. By ticking the agreement checkbox at checkout and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp linked to your Order Confirmation.

3.3 GST and invoicing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. The price applicable to your purchase is the price confirmed in your Order Confirmation. A tax invoice will be issued with your Order Confirmation.

3.4 Session scheduling

Upon completing payment, you will receive a booking link via Calendly to select your preferred Session time from available slots. For multi-session packages, subsequent Sessions are booked via the same system following each completed Session. All Sessions are subject to Coach availability.

3.5 Intake form

Before your first Session, you will be asked to complete a Quick Snapshot intake form. This is a condition of the coaching engagement. Sessions cannot be tailored effectively without it. Failure to complete the intake form prior to the agreed Session time does not entitle you to a reschedule without notice.

4.
Cancellation, Refunds & Session Terms

4.1 Cooling-off period

You may cancel your purchase within 7 days of payment and receive a full refund, provided no Sessions have been delivered. To exercise this right, notify us in writing at admin@moneyskillsstudio.com.au within that period. Once any Session has been delivered, the cooling-off period no longer applies and the refund terms in Clause 4.5 govern instead.

4.2 Rescheduling

You may reschedule a Session at any time, provided you give at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling is done via Calendly. Where 24 hours' notice is given, MSS will accommodate an alternative time subject to availability.

4.3 Cancellations by you

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to admin@moneyskillsstudio.com.au. The following applies:

CircumstanceOutcome
48 hours or more before the Session Full credit or refund at your election
Less than 24 hours before the Session The Session may be counted as delivered. No refund or credit.
Repeated late cancellations (3 or more with less than 24 hours' notice) Each further late cancellation may be counted as a delivered Session at MSS's discretion.
No-show (no contact prior to Session) MSS will attempt to contact you. If no response is received within 48 hours, the Session may be counted as delivered. No refund or credit.

4.4 Late arrivals

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the Session will end at the originally scheduled time. The remaining time will not be extended or rescheduled, and no partial refund or credit will apply.

4.5 Refunds after the cooling-off period

Once the cooling-off period in Clause 4.1 has passed, the following applies to any remaining unused Sessions in a package:

  • Sessions already delivered are charged at the applicable per-session rate displayed on the website at the time of purchase.
  • Unused Sessions within their expiry period (see Clause 4.6) remain available to be booked.
  • No cash refunds are provided for unused Sessions after the cooling-off period, except where required by the ACL.

4.6 Session expiry

All Sessions within a package must be used within 6 months of the date of purchase. Sessions not used within this period are forfeited without refund. Extensions to the expiry period may be granted in exceptional circumstances at MSS's sole discretion. Requests for extensions must be made in writing before the expiry date.

4.7 Cancellations by MSS

If MSS needs to cancel or reschedule a Session, we will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable and offer you an alternative time at no extra cost. If no suitable alternative can be agreed, a full refund of the Fees paid for that Session will be provided.

4.8 Blueprint refunds

Blueprints and other digital resources are non-refundable once delivered, except where you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL.

4.9 Your rights under the ACL

Nothing in this clause limits any right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If the Services are not provided with due care and skill, or are not fit for the purpose for which they were acquired, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of the policy above.

5.
Limitation of Liability

5.1 Exclusion of consequential loss

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSS excludes all liability for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive loss or damage arising from the Services or this Agreement, including without limitation loss of income, loss of employment opportunity, loss of a specific role or offer, loss of profits, or loss of data.

5.2 Cap on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSS's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services or this Agreement is limited to the total Fees you paid for the Services to which the claim relates.

5.3 Consumer guarantees preserved

Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the ACL. Where the ACL permits MSS to limit its remedy for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, MSS limits its liability to re-supplying the Services or paying the cost of having the Services supplied again.

5.4 Client responsibility for outcomes

You acknowledge that interview outcomes and the results of coaching depend substantially on your own effort, engagement, and implementation of coaching guidance. MSS is not liable for outcomes attributable to your failure to engage with, practise, or apply the coaching provided, or for any decision made by a prospective employer.

6.
Confidentiality

6.1 MSS obligations

MSS will keep your Confidential Information strictly confidential. We will not disclose it to any third party without your prior written consent, except as required by law or as necessary to deliver the Services. Client outcomes and testimonials will only be used publicly with your express written consent.

6.2 Your obligations

You will keep confidential all materials, frameworks, coaching methodologies, and content we provide in connection with the Services. You must not reproduce, share, or distribute those materials without our prior written consent.

6.3 Session recordings

Sessions may not be recorded by either party without the prior written consent of the other. Where recording is agreed, the recording is for the personal use of the consenting parties only and must not be shared, published, or posted on any platform.

7.
Intellectual Property

All coaching materials, frameworks, Blueprints, templates, written feedback, exercises, digital tools (including the Interview Answer Builder), and other resources provided to you in connection with the Services remain the intellectual property of MSS. This clause survives termination or expiry of this Agreement.

MSS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those materials for your personal interview preparation purposes only. You must not reproduce, sell, sublicense, share with third parties, or otherwise exploit the materials commercially without our prior written consent. This licence terminates automatically upon termination of this Agreement.

Blueprints purchased as digital downloads are licensed for the personal use of the individual named in the Order Confirmation only.

8.
Privacy

MSS collects personal information you provide when purchasing Services or completing your intake form, including your name, contact details, career history, target roles, and any personal background you share relevant to the coaching. This information is used solely to deliver the Services, communicate with you, and meet our legal obligations.

MSS handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our full Privacy Policy is available at moneyskillsstudio.com.au/privacy-policy.

We will not sell your personal information or disclose it to third parties for marketing purposes. Where we engage third-party service providers (including our scheduling platform Calendly and payment processor Stripe), appropriate data handling obligations apply to those providers.

If you complete coaching and MSS wishes to use your outcome or testimonial in any marketing or social content, we will seek your express written consent before doing so.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us at admin@moneyskillsstudio.com.au.

9.
Conduct & Termination

9.1 Expected conduct

Both parties agree to engage respectfully and professionally throughout the delivery of Services. MSS reserves the right to terminate Services immediately and without refund if you engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct towards the Coach or any MSS representative.

9.2 Termination by you

You may cancel your engagement at any time in writing. Any refund for unused Sessions will be determined in accordance with Clause 4, subject to your rights under the ACL.

9.3 Termination by MSS

MSS may suspend or terminate your access to Services by written notice if you: (a) fail to pay any amount due; (b) breach any material term of this Agreement; or (c) engage in the conduct described in Clause 9.1.

9.4 Survival

The following clauses survive termination or expiry of this Agreement for any reason: Clause 5 (Limitation of Liability), Clause 6 (Confidentiality), Clause 7 (Intellectual Property), Clause 8 (Privacy), Clause 10 (Dispute Resolution), Clause 11 (Force Majeure and Third Parties), and Clause 12 (General Provisions). Any obligation to pay Fees accrued before termination also survives.

10.
Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms or the Services, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before commencing formal proceedings. Either party may initiate this by written notice to the other describing the nature of the dispute.

If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of that notice, either party may refer it to mediation before commencing legal proceedings. Mediation costs will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interlocutory relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

For unresolved consumer disputes, you may also contact Consumer Protection WA or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

11.
Force Majeure & Third Parties

11.1 Force majeure

MSS is not liable for any failure or delay in delivering the Services where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, illness or medical emergency of the Coach, technology or internet failure, natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, government restriction, or any other event that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.

Where a force majeure event prevents delivery of a Session, MSS will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and offer a rescheduled Session at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible within a reasonable period, a refund of the Fees paid for the affected Session will be provided. MSS's obligations under the ACL are not affected by this clause.

11.2 Third-party platforms

MSS uses third-party platforms to deliver aspects of the Services, including Calendly for session scheduling and Stripe for payment processing. MSS is not responsible for any failure, outage, error, or interruption caused by these platforms. If a platform outage prevents you from booking a Session or completing a payment, please contact us at admin@moneyskillsstudio.com.au and we will assist you directly. By using these platforms in connection with the Services, you also agree to their respective terms of service.

12.
General Provisions

12.1 Governing law and jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts. MSS does not represent that the Services comply with the laws of any jurisdiction outside Australia. If you are accessing the Services from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

12.2 Age requirement

The Services are intended for individuals aged 18 years and over. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must purchase the Services on your behalf and by doing so accepts these Terms on your behalf and assumes full responsibility for compliance with them.

12.3 Entire agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties in respect of interview coaching services and supersedes all prior representations and agreements relating to that subject matter.

12.4 Severance

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue in full force.

12.5 Amendments

MSS may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to your purchase is the version in force at the time of your Order Confirmation. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

12.6 No waiver

Failure or delay by either party in exercising any right under this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right.
